Before Steve Ballmer gave his exclusive hands on opinion of the new Microsoft phone, Joe Belfiore, VP in charge of the program management and design, gave the audience the first look at Windows Phone 7 series. Joe Belfiore, who has been at Microsoft for 20 years, presented the phone focusing on user experience and design. Belfiore explained how most smart phones today are more like a PC than actual phones.
